Company Profile
DTLA Film Festival is a 501(c)(3), IRS-tax-exempt charitable media-arts nonprofit organization. Our mission is to showcase the works of filmmakers from groups traditionally underrepresented by Hollywood, including women, people of color, the LGBTQI+ communities, persons with disabilities and the economically disenfranchised.
Located in the historic core of the Film Capital of the World, the festival also strives to reflect in its programming choices the unique cultural and ethnic diversity of downtown Los Angeles and its surrounding communities.
Since it was established in 2008 DTLA Film Festival has screened more than 1,200 films of all genres, making it the largest film event in downtown L.A.
