Salikan Architecture

Salikan Architecture offers full services in architecture, planning and interiors. Our core projects include commercial, institutional, recreational and residential buildings. We strive to design efficient buildings that inspire, enrich and embrace, providing each with a distinctive sense of identity and place. We focus on the building users and their total physical environment -integrating interiors, landscape and context. We promote universally inclusive buildings that incorporate visual and barrier-free accessibility, enhance health and wellbeing, and aim for carbon-neutral and net-zero sustainability goals.

Our firm was founded in 1988 in Vancouver and operates throughout British Columbia and Alberta, but has also completed projects in U.S.A. and Japan. Our team consists of building technologists with 4 in-house CAD workstations, plus additional consulting draftspersons engaged regularly as required to meet scheduling needs. Our projects are created with BIM modelling software, along with rendering and specification-management programs. Our networked resources include partnerships and joint-ventures with experienced planners, engineers, and developers. We have developed efficient teamwork with selected structural, mechanical, electrical, civil and geotechnical engineers, with leading landscape architects, interior designers and building envelope specialists, and with established contractors and construction managers.
